I want what is best for you."

"Just because it's the best thing to do, doesn't mean it's what I want." Tears were now rolling down my checks. Ashley steped closer and wiped them off with the pad of her thumb, while placing her palm on the side of my neck.

"Please don't cry. I can't stand tears. Especially from you."

"You're what I want. I don't care about Aiden. Yeah, he is a sweet guy, but you are more important." I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"By the look on your face when you were with Aiden this whole night, I would have thought the exact opposite. He makes you happy. I can see it."

"You make me happy."

"I'm not someone that you can have just like that." That's not the message she's been giving me.

"So, what? Were you just leading me on for no reason?"

"No! What I mean is, it's going to be hard for us to be together. Your parents would freak out and every one would give us dirty looks and give us all their crap about how we are disgusting."

"I don't care."

"I could ruin you life."

"Or you could make it heaven." The tears were falling even harder, now. "Please, don't do this."

"You don't want to keep Aiden waiting." Ashley sighed.

"But... Ash, please." I begged, holding on tightly to her waist.

"Please don't make this harder than it already is."

"It doesn't have to be this way!" She pried my hands off her and opened the door for Aiden. He walked in and smiled.

"Well, I'll leave you two alone. I'm gonna head home. Is there anything else you want me to do, Aiden?"

"No, Ms. Davies. We're good."

"Alright then. Goodnight, lovers. Don't have to much fun, now." She said with a wink. Aiden chuckled.

"Nahw, I don't think we're going to have that good of a time." He grinned looking at me. This time Ashley laughed.
