We're here." He said as he removed the blindfold. We were at the football field at King High. What might Aiden have planned, that we are here. "I know, you're probaly like, what the hell are we here for? But you'll see. And besides we're going somewhere else after this.""So, what exactly are we doing here?"
"Remember in the 7th grade we were listening to 90's music in Mrs. Karry's class. Then the song Always and Forever by Luther Vandross came on. And you told me that you thought it would be a dream come true if you could dance to this song in the middle of a football field?"
"Yeah." I answered, slowly lefting the memories of that day drift into my mind. I can't believe he remembered that. Aiden must have been planning this as out date since the first time he asked me out. Which was like in the 8th grade. Awwww. Sudenly, Always and Fovever started to play from the speakers surrounding us.
"Would you like to dance?" He held out his hand. Both him and I, had the biggest smiles plastered on our faces.
"Absolutely." I took it and he lead me out to the middle of the field. Just like I had imagined it when I was younger, though I never thought it would be with Aid. When we got out there he went to put his hands and my hips, but stopped.
"Can I?" Awww, he was asking for permission.
"Yes." He gentley placed his palms and my hips. I put my arms around his neck and we swayed together. His head in the crook of my neck and my forehead on his broad shoulder. Before I knew it, the song was over. He lifted his head up and just looked at me.
"You really look beautiful tonight." Aiden whispered. "I didn't think you would give me a chance, but I guess I just had to be patient." I couldn't help but to smile.
"You really surprised me. These past few days with you have been great."
"Would you like to go have dinner now?"
"Yeah."
"You have to close you eyes again."
"Oh come on." I did not like that damn blindfold.
"Yes, you have to."
"Fine." I huffed. He placed his hands over my eyes and led me away from the field. We walked for a few minutes, until I heard a door open and shut as we stepped in. Aiden pulled his hands away from my eyes to reveal a blanket and two candles sitting on the floor of the room.
