It was Friday afternoon. I had gotten home from school a few hours ago and now, I'm getting ready for my date. With Aiden. I honestly don't mind him anymore. He is my best friend and the last few days he has spent showing me that he is boyfriend material. He's gentle, caring, protective, and just a real sweetheart. These are things that I haven't even noticed thoughout the whole time we've been friends. I don't know why I never gave him a chance. I finished putting on the final touches to my new "date" look and glanced at the clock. It was 6:55. Perfect. Aiden will be here in five minutes.
I hear the doorbell ring and wonder if it's him. My wondering is soon put to an end because my mom is calling for me telling my that Aiden is here. I take one last look in the mirror and rush down stairs. I round the bottom step and see Aiden. He looks so cute tonight. He has on a white button up shirt with a green stripe running along the collar that really brings out his eyes. Along with that he's wearing some well ironed, plaid pants. I think we both knew tonight wasn't casual becasue I was also dressed up. I had a midlengh, black skirt that flowed freely with my body, and a sparkily blue, backless halter top, which also brought out my eyes. He made his way over to me and I could see his eyes sparkle.
"Wow, Spence. You look....... amazing."
"You don't look so bad yourself." I smiled.
"I hope so. I spent forever finding the right outfit. I felt like a girl picking out her clothes for the first day of school." I giggled at his smilie.
"Atleast you don't look like a girl."
"You know I acually thought about putting on some makeup." He chuckled.
"Oh, you don't have to do that for me. Please. I like you better without it."
"Good. So, shall we go?"
"We shall." I replied hooking my arm with his.
"Now you two have a good time! Be back by eleven!" My mom shouted as we walked out.
"Where are you taking me?" Aiden had me blind folded from the time we got in his car and I was getting anxious.
"Calm down. We're here.
