Ashley’s Pov
Once I took Spencer home I called Aiden over to help with some heavy lifting. There was a knock on my bedroom door and I looked up as Aiden walked into the room.
Aiden: “Hey, Kyla let me in. So, what exactly is my job?”
Ashley: “To use those muscles of yours to carry stuff I physically can not.”
Aiden: “Yeah, I am pretty strong.”
He flexed his muscles like an idiot and I couldn’t help but laugh at him.
Ashley: “Ok, ok. Just grab these boxes and put them in any of the cars. I don’t care which.”
Aiden: “No offense, but your car is a two seater. You aren’t going to be able to get much in there.
Ashley: “Well, YOU have an SUV, so get to filling it.”
I laughed as he saluted me. I mostly only packed my clothes that I don’t plan on wearing any time soon and my many, many shoes.
He filled his suv with boxes of my belongings and I fit a good 2 boxes into my car. Oh how helpful I am. I drove to the loft and let him follow behind. Kyla followed as well. She at least wanted to have some clothes there. She didn't want to move everything she had into the house since she would be gone in a few weeks, so I agreed to completely furnish the room. I still got to pick out the bed and dressers since it was my guest room. I can't wait until graduation. I always wanted to be out of school, but now that's not what I think of when I think of graduation. I think of Spencer. I think of sharing a home with her. I think of keeping her safe and having a wonderful life with her. I think of sleeping with my arms wrapped around her and waking up to those beautiful blue eyes. Oh, gosh. I can't wait.
I pulled into the parking deck and waited for Aiden and Kyla to find a parking spot. I scooped my two tiny boxes into my arms and carried them with ease wile Aiden struggled with a stack of 4 much heavier boxes. I unlocked the door to my loft and he scurried to set them down as soon as he could.
Aiden: “Jeez Ash. What do you have in these boxes? Bricks?”
Ashley: “Shoes actually. Awe poor wimpy Aiden can’t carry a few shoes.”
Aiden: “I’m serious. I think you packed some bricks in here. No joke.”
He laughed as we walked back out to his SUV to get more boxes. We made a few more trips back to my house to get more boxes before we called it a night. It was still a school night. I was excited and I wanted to move in now, but sadly I didn’t have a way to get my bed there yet. Aiden had to get his dad’s truck first and he couldn’t on short notice. Plus I didn’t want to stay the night alone. I needed Kyla. Now that I’m used to having her in the house I wasn’t a fan of being alone.
A couple of days passed and it was Thursday. The days went by slowly.
