Throughout the two other movies, she would comment and laugh while Spencer and Ashley stayed silent, completely aware of their touching thighs and shallow breathing. Kyla was blissfully ignorant.
"Um...maybe we should call it a night, Spencer isn't really a big fan of scary movies." Ashley said, realizing her defenses were weakened by the alcohol and was starting to get more than antsy sitting next to the blonde. The blonde who smelled amazing. And had soft legs. Smooth, soft, touchable legs that went on for days and what she wouldn't give to slide her naked body between them and...
"I'm fine, Ash. Really." Damn her. Ashley thought as she slammed her eyes down tight, willing herself to not think of that kiss. That kiss and so much more that shared the night before. Ashley willed herself not to replay the sounds of Spencer coming over and over again in her head. "Yeah, she'll be fine, Ashley. And besides, she'll have you out here with her to keep her safe later." Kyla said as she casually sucked her beverage from her straw, watching the opening credits to Halloween.
"What?!" Both Ashley and Spencer said at the same time, a little panicked. "The couch is a pull-out. This is where you two will be sleeping. Oooohhh that mask is so creepy!" She said, watching the movie with enthusiasm. "I love this theme song, so gives me chills!" She was fixated on the screen and didn't witness both Ashley and Spencer thick swallows.
Both girls stared at the TV with glazed-over expressions, wide-eyed, and biting at their bottom lips. They then both finished off their drinks in one long gulp and were not at all pleased when Kyla hopped up to refill their glasses. By the time Halloween got scary, Spencer was no longer in control of her reflexes. She was gripping Ashley's arm with such ferocity that a couple times the brunette actually winced. But, with a smug grin, Ashley couldn't help but feel pretty good about herself in those moments. At least the blonde was touching her.
Ashley battled back and forth between two thoughts: Was it better for Spencer to touch her, or not? The brunette was completely ready to have the blonde never talk to her again, to lose her best friend yet again. But when Spencer would cling to her, as if it were the most natural thing in the world, Ashley's mind would change. She was more terrified of being alone with Spencer then the movie. Would they talk about last night? Would another drunken kiss happen? Would even more happen than it did last night? Although Ashley didn't want alcohol to affect whatever would transpire between them physically again, she didn't think she'd be able to refuse Spencer if the blonde attempted something.
As Spencer dove into the crook of Ashley's neck out of fear, she suddenly remembered the last time she was in that position and her body stiffened. She allowed herself to smell Ashley's skin, to admire how sexy the brunette was, how amazing it felt being so close to her. Would it be so bad if I let Ashley use me again? Especially because I feel as though if she doesn't touch me again and soon, I'll lose my mind!
Pulling away slowly from her ex best friend, Spencer put her drink down and set her eyes on the screen. The movie was almost over and she wasn't sure what she wanted to happen next.
"Maybe we should save Halloween II for another night or something." Ashley said, her body going haywire. She still felt Spencer's hot breath against her neck, even though the blonde was now sitting straight up on the couch, and the brunette knew that one two things had to happen.
