Ashley kept her hand on Spencer's inner thigh throughout the whole journey to King High. Spencer kept her hands at ten and two and tried not to crash the brunette's car. It was obvious that her ex best friend was still drunk and the blonde thought several times of asking her to remove the hand, but she couldn't shake off the amazing sensations she received from having the soft hand lay there.
It brought several incredible feelings to the surface: desire, familiarity, love and trust. It was an intimate gesture that meant so much that it kept Spencer's heart rate sky high. Ashley didn't caress her skin or move the hand at all. It just sat there in an act of possessiveness that made the blonde's blood pulse and clit ache.
The radio was on low, playing Ashley's Silversun pickups CD and it barely masked Spencer's heavy breathing. By the time they pulled into the empty King High parking lot, the blonde's hormones were in overdrive. She had to remind herself over and over again exactly why they were at the school well after hours.
Spencer cut the engine as snuck a peak over at the quiet brunette beside her; she was passed out. The blonde didn't exactly know how to proceed. Obviously, Ashley had a bad day. Her attitude had not changed throughout and the heavy drinking only made it more apparent. But they had work to do. They needed to break into the school, hack into the computer, find out who was absent today, therefore likely dead, and report their findings to the Sheriff.
"You look so tired." Spencer mumbled as she watched Ashley sleep, tucking a stray hair behind the brunette's ear. Simultaneously, both girls sighed; Spencer sighed because she got an uninhibited view of the girl who had her heart, and Ashley sighed because of the sensation of the blonde's fingers softly stroking her cheek. With a pang of regret, Spencer slowly shook the brunette's shoulder to wake her. Ashley mumbled something softly and unintelligible making the blonde smile at the cuteness. With a big yawn, Ashley's eyes fluttered open to see Spencer.
"What?" Ashley asked with a small grin that mirrored her ex best friend's. It was obvious to her that Spencer wanted to say something, but instead she just shook her head dismissively, stilling smiling softly.
"Nothing, we're here." Spencer got out of the car as Ashley looked around at their new surroundings. With an uneasy feeling, the brunette also got out of the car to meet a waiting Spencer and together they quickly ducked through the dark and vacant quad.
"So you got keys, Janitor Carlin, or will there be a bit of B & E-ing going on?" Spencer chuckled lightly as she approached their first hurdle. The door to the main office would most certainly be locked and if and when they got through that, they'd be met with another locked office door.
"Call me an optimist, but I assumed you'd know how to get in." Spencer perked her eyebrow expectantly at the brunette and waited patiently for Ashley's response. "Wha-?" Ashley admonished with faux offence. "Spencer Carlin! Whatever gave you the impression that I knew the first thing about-"
"Just open the door, Ashley." Spencer cut her off with a soft laugh that made Ashley smile wide.
"Yeah, okay." She said as her smile grew and she turned to face the door. With a minimal amount of tampering with one of the bobby pins in her hair, the lock opened with a snap and the girls were in. Moments later the second lock gave way and they entered the office.
Immediately, Spencer was behind the desk and hands on the keyboard of the secretary's computer. "So, Bonnie, how do you plan on logging into the system?" Spencer rolled her eyes at the nickname as her left hand went under the desk in front of her and blindly searched for her goal.
"Well, Clyde," Spencer started and then felt the piece of paper that was taped under the desk and triumphantly unstuck it from its hiding spot to show Ashley. "I didn't think it'd be an issue." The brunette was impressed.
"How'd you know that would be there?" Ashley asked suspiciously as she pulled a chair up to join the blonde. She was definitely not sober yet, but she felt manageable.
