If Saturday didn’t come any sooner, I would’ve punched it in the fuckin face! I’ve been anxious all week getting ready for this night. I have it all planned out and nothing will stop this date from being perfect. The song is ready, my guitar’s in my trunk, the place is set, everything’s perfect! I’m picking up Spencer in about an hour, I can’t wait to see that gorgeous girl.
Spencer’s PoV:
I can’t wait to go out with Ashley again! She said tonight’s going to be “perfect”, but I don’t care if it is or not, I just want to be with her. She should be here in like 30 minutes. She told me to dress comfortable and prepared to get wet. I put on my blue swimsuit, the one that makes my eyes pop, and basketball shorts. I pulled my hair up into a ponytail and waited for Ashley.
Ding-dong.
I smiled and ran down the stairs. I opened the door and we greeted by those heart-melting brown eyes. She dressed similar to me, but her suit was brown. She smiled at me.
“Hi.” She said.
“Hi.” I said back.
She smiled and asked, “You ready dear?”
I laughed and said, “Of course.”
She held out her hand and I gladly took it. I followed her out to the car and she opened my door for me. Once I got in she closed my door and walked to her side, got in, and started the car. She took my hand over the consol and we drove in silence. After a while I saw a small smile forming on her lips and she held my hand tighter. We she stopped the car, we were at the beach. She let go of my hand and walked over to my side and opened my door. She held out her hand with a smile and I took it. We walked down to the beach and I saw a blanket with a basket, roses, and candles lit.
“Oh my god Ash…” I was amazed.
“This isn’t to cheesy right?” She asked.
“Of course not, this is perfect.”
“I was hoping it would be.” She smiled, “Want to go swim?”
“Sure… But you have to catch me first.”
I started running, leaving Ashley frozen. She snapped out of it quickly and bolted after me. I was almost to the water when BAM! She tacked me and I hit the sand. I started laughing and so did she. She got off of me and we went in the water.
After about an hour of playing in the water, Ashley got out and so did I. She went over to the blanket and sat down. I followed and sat across from her.
“You hungry?” She asked.
I nodded and she smiled. She pulled out two sandwiches and two cokes.
