Ashley: How do you know?

Gwen: Because, she’ll be with you. If she sees what I see in you, than she will see all the crazy awesome neurotic beautiful things that make up Ashley.Davies.

Ashley: Wow, did you plan that heartfelt, romantic comedy speech all by yourself?

Gwen: There she is, my sister is back! and....yes as soon as you told me she was coming to dinner.haha

(We walk out and I see Spencer standing with her back toward us, facing the window. Was she practicing greeting Gwen? haha, too cute)

Ashley: Hey Spence, this is Gwen.

Spencer: (turns around and smiles, wow.)Hi.

Gwen: Wow. Ashley. She’s beautiful. Spencer, its so great to meet you.

(Spencer is blushing, and I smile because she looks so happy)

Spencer: I’m glad to! I hope you like brownies...

Gwen: And she brought brownies, (turns to me then back to Spencer)...Can I adopt you?

(Spencer tilts her head in confusion and looks at me, half smiling then giggles)

Ashley: Thats Gwen’s lame attempt at humor, its also how you can tell she likes you. She wants you to like her back thats why she makes lame jokes. 

Gwen: Excuse me!

Spencer: I thought it was funny...

Gwen: Thank you Spencer!

(We ate pizza, and talked. Gwen asked her about her family and how she moved here. She liked her, and I am so glad they were getting along well. I knew they would though)

Gwen: Oh my Spencer, you should have seen Ash as a kid, she was hilarious. Once she jumped off our couch and hit the footstool with her forehead, priceless. Also, She was fascinated with cowboys. She wore this black cowboy hat around for a month straight. You wouldn’t think it by looking at her, (here we go...southern accent coming up) But Darlin’ this one here was a little buckaroo in her hay day!

Ashley: Ok. I think thats enough for sharing time tonight kids, Ashley is tired of hearing how embarrassing and lame her childhood was....

Spencer: (still laughing so hard she’s crying) Aww Ash! I love it, its so cute. Its helping me find out who you really are.....buckaroo.
