”“Uhh, I guess good. Kyla said something about how they’re ‘married’.”
“Haha married?”
“Well not literally. I think it’s just a title, I don’t know, they’re weird that way.”
“And what, you’re not ‘married’.?” She asked jokingly.
“Nope, I haven’t found the right girl yet.” I said, joking back.
“Ohh I see.”
“Why? Did you want to be my wife Spencer Carlin?” I asked, still kidding.
“Depends if I’m the ‘right girl’ or not.” She winked.
So, I got down on one knee and took her hand in mine. She started laughing.
“Spencer Carlin, will you marry me?”
“Yes Ashley, I will.” She said, still laughing.
“Looks like you are the right girl after all.” I gave her a wink. “Well hey, it’s getting late, I should probably go.”
“Aww wife, don’t go!” She pouted.
“Ha so now we have pet names? We’ve been married for what, 1 minute, 2 at most?” I laughed.
“Yes my dear we do.”
“Well I’m sorry darlin, I have to go.”
“Will you call me later then?”
“Of course.”
She smiled at me and pulled me into her arms. God she smelt so good. I pulled back a little and kissed her cheek., “Goodnight beautiful.” I held her tighter.
“Goodnight.” She blushed.
I then walked out to my car, looked back to see Spencer standing in her doorway, smiling at me. I give her the smile where my nose scrunches up, got in my car and drove home.

Kyla was gone when I got home, probably with Aiden. I decided to take a shower, and while I was showering, a song popped into my head. But it was a song I’ve never heard before. Not wanting to forget the lyrics I quickly ran out of the shower and wrote them down, and before I knew it, I had a whole song written up. When I read over it I realized it was about Spencer. That’s never happened before. I got the right tune for it and practiced it. It’s perfect! I decided to call Spencer to set up a date.
