What am I going to do?’

After going through aboout 172 outfits, I settled on one. Black skinny jeans with a red tank, red heels, and a black and red bandana bracelet. I’ve always had this weird obsession with bandanas, I wear them with anything and everything. I straightened my hair for a change and looked in the mirror.

This should be good right?

I walk out of my room and into Kyla’s, I need her opinion. I open the door and her mouth drops.

“Damn Ashley,” She said, “You look HOT!”

“Ha thanks Ky.”

“You nervous?” Did she really just ask that?

“Hell yeah.”

“Don’t be, they’ll love you! Now go, you don’t want to give them the wrong idea if you’re late!”

That’s not what I’m so scared about.

***

The ride there was nerve racking. I’m surprised I even made it there alive. I couldn’t keep my mind off Spencer. And knowing I am about to see her makes me more nervous. I have never been nervous to meet anyone, well probably because I’ve never met the parents of a girl I liked. And me and adults never really get along good. Tonight should be interesting.

The clock changed to 7:00, time to go inside. I get out of my car and walk up the drive wat to the front door. I take some last deep breaths and ring the doorbell. I hear Spencer tell her parent’s she’ll get it and then the door opens and there she is. She had on a skirt that showed off her long legs, a white tank that shower her curves, and her hair wasn’t curly, but wavy. She looked amazing.

“Wow.” I said with a smile.

“You too.” She said smiling back.

“I’m sorry if I fuck it up with your parents, like give them the wrong idea or something.”

“Don’t worry about it, My Dad will love you! And possibly my Mom.”

Yeah, I highly doubt that.

She held out her hand, smiled, and said, “Come on.”

I nodded and took her hand, following her inside. I let go as soon as I spotted her Mom. Spencer looked at me confused.

“Wrong impression.” I whispered.

“Right! Sorry!” She whispered back.

We walked further into the living room, her Mom turns around and has a smile on her face. She looks exactly like Spencer, just older. They have the same eyes. At least I know Spencer will age well.

“You must be Ashley!
