And she tried several times to phone her ex best friend before she realized that Ashley had lost her phone the night before.

For only a second the blonde was scared. Thoughts of the Killer passed through Spencer's mind. And then she remembered that Ashley Davies was the kind of girl that retreated when things got complicated. She had always been that way. Factor in the loss of her father and her mother skipping town, and the girl was incorrigible.

But the blonde wasn't sure what had happened that spooked Ashley into running. Maybe she'll come back. But Spencer knew it was no good. When Ashley left, she left. And she never came back on her own accord.

Spencer bit her lip, suddenly very concerned. There's no way that she could just let the brunette be on her own considering everything. There's no way she could let her stay in that house by herself after what took place there. There's no way that Spencer could wake up another day without turning over to see brown curls and pouty lips.

Spencer quickly shut her eyes as she let out a painful moan at the thought of that mouth on hers. "Ashley." She whispered into her quiet room as she placed two fingers over her lips, remembering how perfect the kiss felt.

The blonde flipped over to her stomach as a smile broke on her face. "She kissed me." A soft squeal erupted from Spencer and she buried it into her pillow as it got louder. She continued to grin even as soft fur brushed against her temple.

"Oh my God, Trouble!" Spencer exclaimed, turning over onto her back as she picked her cat up into the air. "You'll never guess what happened last night!" She gushed; bring the cat down for a kiss before raising it up in the air again to hover over her.

Trouble's ears went back, a little afraid of the yelps the blonde would randomly expel. "She kissed me." Spencer giggled, bring the cat down to cradle in her arms as she repeated her words over and over again.

"I got to get her back here." The blonde said, suddenly serious. The cat meowed and it made Spencer frown. "I'm not quite sure yet, Trouble, but there's got to be a way." The tabby's big, brown eyes narrowed. "What?! I didn't do anything to make her leave!" Spencer said defensively as she sat up in the bed.

Trouble merely turned his back on the blonde, tail straight in the air. "What?! I didn't! I was sweet as pie to her like you made me promise I would be! And then we kissed, and even after that it was fine and then we got home and...ooooohhhhh!" Realization finally hit as Spencer remembered her talk with her aunt the previous night.

"Damn it." She mumbled, thoroughly pissed off, yet again, at her aunt and her harsh words about the brunette. But Ashley couldn't think that Spencer agreed with her...could she?
