Ashley: Thats too bad. I know how that goes. Aiden is the only one who talks to me. The others, well I guess you can’t really...never mind. 

(I try to laugh it off, but she can tell I had a little pain in that last sentence.)

Spencer: Oh yeah. I’m lame, I’ve only had one boyfriend. Almost a year and a half later, I figured out he didn’t hold my interests for even one second. That probably sounds cold, just I don’t know what I want really...

Ashley: Who does? I sure as hell don’t! (pause)Spencer...I should really tell you something.

Spencer: Sure. Go for it...

(I opened my mouth to speak, to tell her that I’m really not that “straight” laced. Which probably wasn’t a great idea before dinner anyway. When her mom walked in to tell us dinner was ready.)

Spencer: Ok mom, we’ll be down soon. What were you saying Ash?

Ashley: Oh wow, I totally spaced. I forgot! 

(I think she could tell I was lying...but she shook it off and we went downstairs to eat with her family)

After dinner, which was delicious by the way. We had desert. Her dad is probably the best cook, like ever. Her mom decided to play the question game with me...oh this should be fun.

Paula: So Ashley, How did you and Spencer meet?

Ashley: She close lined me.

Paula: What?

Spencer: Actually Glen pushed me into her, it was HIS fault. But it turned out great! haha.(She gets up and excuses herself to the restroom)

Ashley: Yeah, I noticed that she was a little lost her first day and I decided to be a friend and help out. 

Paula: That was very nice of you Ashley, Spencer has told us nothing but good things. 

Ashley: I’m glad I met Spence, She’s great Mrs. Carlin. 

Paula: Please call me Paula, and yes we all love her.

Ashley: She’s a great girl. I feel like I’ve known her forever.
