SC's POV
“Spencer, stop. I love you, I do. But this is too soon for me.” She shut her eyes hard.
I groaned frustrated, “So, you get mad at me for being honest?” I immediately wanted to take that back, “I’m sorry, that wasn’t fair. I understand if this is too soon to be talking about this. But can we at least try to get back to being friends. We used to be best friends before.” I begged, I wanted her in my life, even if we were gonna be just friends.

AD’s POV
“You’re really an idiot, Ashley. I honestly cannot believe you gave that another chance. If I were you, I’d just cut her out completely.” Kyla badgered me in the school parking lot the next day.
I groaned, “Well, you’re not me. Thank God. And you just don’t cut out who you love. Haven’t you ever heard of giving people another chance?” I had to hear Kyla bitch me out all day yesterday and she just won’t let up. She found out about me giving Spencer another chance by Aiden. That boy just does not know how to keep a freaking secret.
Kyla did her trademark eye roll, “Whatever.” She walked off, probably to go hang out with Chelsea.
Aiden ran up to me, “Hey, hey girlfriend!” He put his hand on my shoulder.
I shrugged it off and kept walking, ignoring the fact that Aiden was yelling my name.
“Ashley! What the hell did I do?” Aiden grabbed my wrist, twirling me around to face him.
I yanked my wrist out of his grip, “Telling Kyla that I gave Spencer another chance. She bitched me out all last night and this morning! So thank you Aiden.” I finished with sarcasm dripping from my words.
Aiden sighed, “She’s my girlfriend, Ash.”
“I know, but still, you know Kyla doesn’t like Spencer. Just keep the Spashley drama to yourself, okay?” I was tired with all this drama. We resumed walking to the school building.
His tone was a lot softer than before, “For sure. And, hey how are you doing?” He asks me that everyday, I don’t know why, but at least I know he cares about me somewhat.
“Better.” I said honestly, “I just wanna leave the past in the past, you know?”
Aiden nodded, “Yeah, I get it. Well, now I have to go find my girlfriend. I’ll catch up with you later.” He smiled and that was followed by a wink. Aiden ran off in the direction that Kyla went. He follows her like a lovesick puppy. It’s really gross. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that Kyla found someone that makes her happy.
