Spencer: You must be Aiden.

Aiden: Yeah...I guess you’ve heard huh?

Spencer: Sorta...More like warned. haha.

Ashley POV:

Spencer and I laugh as Aiden tried to save himself and get back on game for the new girl in town. I invited her to my house after school for an English homework/ movie night.  For the next 3 hours, after classes all I could do was stare at her. She was so cute and I felt this connection I couldn’t explain. She’s straight though...just a heartbreak waiting to happen. She kept looking at me, mostly my exposed stomach. Who doesn’t though? ha. After school I gave her a ride home since her brother Glen had basketball practice. Should have seen the look on her face when I pulled up in my porshe! She invited me inside so she could ask her mom.

Spencer: Make yourself at home...I need to grab a few things. We are still settling in here.

Ashley: No prob, I’ll be right here.( she went upstairs and I waited for about 5 minutes...and she’s back.)

Spencer: K, all set. Mom you here?

Paula: Yes hunny you need something?

Spencer: yeah, I want you to meet Ashley. I was hoping I could go to her house tonight. Sorta like a study/ movie night thing?

Paula: Oh hi Ashley, I’m Paula. Spencer, be home by 11. You have a bake sale for the church tomorrow morning. Glad you made a friend already, I wasn’t worried though.

Spencer: Yes mom....ok. (Smiling, a little embarrassed)

Ashley: She’ll be home. (wait? Am I trying to make a good impression? Whoa.)

I smiled and we drove to my flat downtown. Spencer kept going on and on about my living room. She was fascinated by my writing corner.
