AD’s POV
Poor Paula, she looks so… so broken.
I put on a weak smile when she answered the door, “Hi Paula.” It was Spencer’s and my date night.
“Hi Ashley. Spencer is up in her room. Thank you for the Christmas Dinner last week. I was just about to go meet up with your mom.” Her bloodshot eyes revealed to me that she hasn’t stopped crying.
“Of course, you know that you and Spencer are always welcome at our house. We love you.” I extended my arms and pulled her into a needed hug.
She held me tight, “I’m so glad that Spencer found you, Ashley.” She whispered; then she let me go.
Paula’s words really touched me. I could tell that she really meant them, “Well, I’m really glad that I found Spence and that she gave me another chance. She means the world to me, Paula.” I said honestly, “Have fun with my mom.”
“I know she does.” She told me as I began my walk up to my girl’s room, “It’ll be nice to have a girl’s night.”
Spence really does mean the world to me. Throughout this time that I’ve known her, my feelings began to deepen. I feel like I’m at that point to admit to myself that I love her. I’m in love with Spencer Carlin. I love Spencer with all my being. I know that it sounds crazy and so not normal, but I’m nowhere near normal.
I knocked on Spencer’s door, “Just a second!” Spencer was shuffling around her room.
“C’mon Spence, can’t I come in?” I whined, knowing she wouldn’t be able to resist.
She laughed, “No, sorry Cutie.”
I groaned, “Spencer, we’ve had this conversation I don’t even know how many times. Ashley Freaking Davies is not cute! Now let me come in!” I begged.
“Fine.” She used that tone where I know that she rolled her eyes.
I twisted the doorknob, “Ha, see I told you that you can’t deny Ashley Davies what sh-. Whoa.” My jaw practically hit the floor when my eyes landed on her. My heart’s beating out of my chest. She looks insanely beautiful.
Spencer blushed, “Do I look okay?” She had on this simple white dress that came a little above her knees. Her hair was in loose curls. Man did she look good.
I walked over to her, “Spencer, you look more than okay. Baby, you look beautiful.” I placed my hands on her hips and gently tugged her into a kiss. The kiss went on a little longer than usual, but hey, I’m not complaining.
Spencer’s hands were on either side of my face, not letting either of us break the kiss. I began pushing into her, telling her to back up.
