Ashley: "Hi" I say not recognizing my voice because it's so hoarse.

Spencer: "Oh thank goodness. They didn't know if you were going to wake up or not. Or if you were going to have brain damage or if you were going to have amnesia." She says with tears sitting in her eyes.

I look around the room and figure that I'm in a hospital because of all the monitors and IV that I was hooked up to. I look down at my body, because it feels funny, and lift the blankets to check the damage. I have bandages around my ribs and stomach. There was a tubes sticking out of both my sides. I started to cry.

Spencer: "Ash what's wrong?"

Ashley: "I'm ruined. He ruined my body. I have tubes coming out of me and what the hell is that between my legs?!" I said when I suddenly realized I was really uncomfortable down there.

Spencer: "You're not ruined. You're beautiful. I promise. I'm going to go get the doctors and your family."

I grab her hand before she was out of reach. 

Ashley: "Wait. Don't go." She stopped, turned, and looked into my pleading eyes. 

Spencer: "Ash I promise I'll be right back but they should check you out to make sure everything is ok." She just stared in my eyes. I just mouthed 'please stay'. "Ok but I'm going to text Kyla to let her know. Is that ok with you?"

Ashley: "That's fine I just want you to stay with me." I start to cry.

Spencer text Kyla and then looked back at me.

Spencer: "Shhh it's ok. Ash you're going to be ok. I promise."

Ashley: "but I'm ugly. My body is tore up. I don't even know what my face looks like. It doesn't feel swollen or mangled but who knows."

Spencer: "I do and you're beautiful." She said reaching out to touch my face but stopped and dropped her hand when she heard the door.

Kyla: "Oh thank goodness you're ok." She said running up to me and givning me a giant hug.

Ashley: "Owwie. Let go!" I yell. She jumped back.

Kyla: "Sorry."

Ashley: "It's ok it's just that you hit the tubes and I'm pretty sure I'm really bruised under my bandages." I say with tears of pain in my eyes.
