Spencer: "Mmmmm mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm, mmm, mmm, mmm!" That's me. Humming. While I pee. It's This Little Light of Mine, an oldie but goodie! I'm humming because I'm in a great mood, a really, really, really, great mood. Why do you ask? Well I'll tell you!
I'm in a great mood because it's Friday, it's the night of the bachelorette parties, I'll finally get to really hang out with Ash, all six of us will be together for the first time since Ohio, I got paid today bitches, last night I had a great therapy session with Dr. Thomas, AND because I really had to pee and it feels amazing to finally be able to do so.
I'm in calc right now...well right now I'm still in the bathroom. I'm not peeing in calc, that would be crazy! Anyway, as I sat down on the toilet I started to think of a whole new set of ways that I could torture Ashley. She's still been MIA. After last P.E. class she went right back to ignoring me. But in the nicest way possible if that makes sense.
We still sleep in the observatory, unfortunately not together, and she hasn't been to any meals in the cafe, but every time I do get a glimpse of her she'll give me the tiniest smile, blush like crazy, and then head for the hills.
It's ridiculously cute actually. But another reason I'm so happy is that she'll actually be at lunch today! All six of us are meeting in the cafe to talk about tonight's festivities. Sara made it mandatory and I practically kissed her I was so excited.
Now I'm not entirely sure what we're doing tonight, Ashley- Sara's Maid of Honor, and Gage- Kelly's 'best man" prepared the whole night. Downside: For a few hours we won't all be together.
Sara's bridesmaids are Ashley and Jess and Kelly has Gage and I. So for the first few hours we will be hanging out with our wedding party and then we'll all meet up. Yeah, I know, how much does that suck?! That was Ashley's doing. Sara and Kelly agreed because they wanted to "miss each other." But Sara and Jess both assured me that they would get Ashley good and wasted before she saw me and keep an eye on her in the mean time.
My one job has been to come up with ways to drive Ashley crazy- which I've been working on. Wanna hear what I have so far? Okay, look as sexy as possible, make her jealous, be affectionate and compliment her to the point of sexual harassment, and make her see that she's not getting away from me so easily!
Duncan, aka Dr. Thomas, was really helpful when we spoke last night. I was a little angry and not so hopeful but he talked me through it and helped me stay positive. But seriously, she's been selfish, immature, egotistical, emotionally retarded, bitchy, self indulgent and it hasn't even been a week!
But he reminded me that she isn't always that way and whatever is going on inside that crazy head of hers she probably thinks she's doing what is best- no matter how misconstrued it is.
With my free time that I haven't spent on coming up with fresh ways to get Ashley to cave, I've been trying to figure out what has been going on in her life, i.e. what is making her act this way. She now knows I'm not going to Ohio, even if we remain broken up, so there has to be other stuff; but what?
My guess- her family. It's the only thing that gets Ashley to truly react this way; to pull away from those closest to her. In fact, the only real fight that Ashley and I have ever had was when she was home for Christmas break dealing with her sister and mother. At the time, even Sara confirmed that Ashley's family drives her to withdrawal. I can still hear Sara's words ".
