“What would you like to watch?” Ashley asked while sitting a box of DVDs on her bed where Spencer sat.
The blonde began scanning the disks, “Hmm… Saw it, ew, no, eh, ok, saw it, oooohhh how about this one?” Spencer asked holding up a film with a blank cover and with sloppy hand writing said Better Than Chocolate. Ashley’s eyes bulged, she had forgotten to hide her special DVD’s and now her blonde has found one.
“I-I don’t t-think you’d like it, s-so let’s j-just put that away,” Ashley was shaking and went to lunge for the DVD but Spencer kept it from her grasp.
“Why? I haven’t seen it, the name seems… interesting,” Ashley tried to ride of the nervousness in her voice, she knew with the few scenes that happened to be her favorite might not be so appealing to Spencer.
“You know some movies suck; well this is one of them. So give me,” The brunette held out her hand but the blonde once again resisted.
“You’re lying. And no I want to watch it,” Spencer had said clutching the movie making Ashley sigh.
“Why not Bambi? It’s a good movie. This one’s rated R and it’s not that interesting you know? Scary things,” Ashley had lied once again; she had thought the movie was too mature for her innocent friend.
“The hell Ash? Bambi? I’m not 5, I can watch those movies, and I hardly doubt it’s scary. Please scary things are not Better than Chocolate!” The brunette had finally given up and reluctantly put the movie into the player. Ashley had stiffly taken a seat at the edge of her bed waiting for the movie to end.
The entire movie Spencer’s eyes were glued to the television, and Ashley’s were glued to her expressions. Which she noticed that Spencer had smiled at her favorite scenes…
“That was one good movie Ashy,” Spencer said smiling at the brunette.
“Yeah,” Blushing, Ashley nervously chuckled.
“What was so wrong with letting me watch it?” Spencer grinned slyly.
“I… uh… well…” Ashley’s phone had rang, “Got to get that,”
‘Hey tiger howz da luv shack?’ The message was from Chloe, of course.
‘Haha funny Chlo… not bad actually…’ Ashley had replied and turned to look at Spencer who was not twiddling with her phone as well.
‘Omfg. You kissed her! Ahh why haven’t you told me dis sooner?!?! I her wedding bellz don’t u???’ The brunette rolled her eyes at the silliness of her friend’s text.
‘Actually chlo… funny story’ Ashley was going to tell her overreacting friend the truth that actually Spencer was the one to kiss her.
‘dis is not funny dis is cause for celebration! We celebrate Monday wif everybody before first block! Big parrrrtttyyyyyyy!!!!!’ Chuckling to herself Ashley realized that nothing would stop her friend from celebrating.
‘watevr u say chlo’ Was Ashley’s final reply and she soon set her phone on silent placing it on her desk.
“So what do you want to do?” Ashley had avoided the past subject.
“Talk about why you didn’t want me to watch the movie,” Spencer giggled and placed her phone on the bed.
“Ash! You guys want pizza?
