I growl out.
Gage: "That won't be a problem. Word got around school fast that Michelle, Renee and I gave Tess a hard time about receiving a text from Ashley. People won't be too keen on hitting on her, Spence. After what happened with McHenry, Michelle, and Sam...well you have a reputation as a badass." She says with a smirk.
Spencer: "Good. Do what you have to, just make sure no one touches her."
Gage: "You have my word."
Spencer: "Next, I'm going to have to make it very difficult for Ashley to turn down my sexual advances."
Jessica: "Lingerie shopping is in order."
Spencer: "That's a very good start." I say to her as I continue to pace. "I'll also need a lot of face-time."
Gage: "Well we're all going shopping tomorrow for the wedding and we also have the bachelorette parties this weekend."
Spencer: "Yes, good. Plenty of opportunities for Ashley and I to be drunk together!"
Jessica: "Ooooh, make her jealous!"
Gage: "That will do it." She agrees. "Ashley needs reminding that as long as you're here you'll have girls after you."
Spencer: "Yeah, that will work!" I grin as I pace. "But I also need Ashley to know that I want to be with her, that I'm not going to leave her."
Jessica: "So you're not going back to Ohio?" I stop my pacing as I observe my two friends; my family. In only a few short months, Vermont as been more of a home than Ohio has ever been. My friends here have been there for me more than my own family. Ashley- Ashley has really been my everything.
Spencer: "What do you mean?" I ask with confusion. I mean, how could they even think that I'd want to go back there?
Gage: "We just mean, you made up with your mother and Glen...you have your Goddaughter there..."
Spencer: "And I'll visit them every chance I can get. But seriously, if I didn't go to Ohio this weekend, what are the chances that they would have called me? I mean, maybe they would have gone out of their way to apologize, but that's not necessarily true. My family is here, and I'm not risking anything to lose you guys, to lose Ashley." Jess nods in understanding and Gage grins, pleased to hear this.
Jessica: "So how are you going to convince Ashley?" My shoulder fall and my face drops. I have no money, no nature talent...how am I going to convince Ashley?"
Spencer: "I don't know." I say as I bite on my lip.
