Spencer: "Sare, Kell, I need you two to go find her. Text her do whatever, go find her and make sure she doesn't do anything stupid. Check the grounds, the observatory, the school roof..."
Kelly: "How the fuck can we check the school roof?"
Gage: "Ask Janitor Amie, she'll give you a key."
Spencer: "Just find her. She's gonna want to do something stupid, don't let her. She might have gone into town...Justin and Bobbo's...just find her and keep her out of trouble, okay?"
Sara: "Of course, Spencer. Honey, what about you?" They all look concerned and I almost laugh out loud.
Spencer: "Guys, please, don't look so worried."
Jessica: "Spencer, the girl you love just broke up with you...how are you not...like...crying or something?" They are all looking at me like they're waiting for me to breakdown.
Spencer: "Because," I say with strength I feel. "I'm not letting her end it." They're eyebrows go up as they stare at me with disbelief. "Ashley Davies doesn't know it yet, but she's stuck with me. I don't care what I have to do to convince her, but she's not getting rid of me so easily. So, Sara, Kelly, you go find Ashley."
Kelly: "And what will you be doing?"
Spencer: "I'll be here with Gage and Jess coming up with ways to convince my girlfriend that she's the only one for me and I'm the only one for her!" Kelly nods and Sara just beams out me.
Sara: "Sounds good. Come on, Kell!" They both get up and Sara turns back before she leaves. "Don't make any plans after classes tomorrow, Spence, you have a dress fitting!" I plaster a smile to my face and nod back. I completely forgot about their wedding.
Spencer: "I'll be ready!" She smiles and leaves with Kelly and I turn back to Gage and Jess.
Gage: "So what's the plan of attack, Spence?" I take a long moment to consider.
I think about how amazing Ashley has been to me. I look down at the jewelry box in my hand and hastily add the lion charm I just received to my bracelet as I think about what I could do to make Ashley understand. I look around the walls of the hole; the walls covered in Ashley's professions of her love to me. I mull over all the damage that has been done to my brunette caused by her family as I start to pace. Gage and Jess rapidly follow my movement.
Spencer: "First of all we have to keep Ashley as sober as possible and prevent her from sleeping with anyone!"
