Spencer: "Well what other explanation is there?! I mean...we were more than fine before Ohio and everything there went great! And I don't think she's only with me to take care of me cause she was there for Gage when she was depressed before they were friends and they're still friends and she was there for Sara after the rape and before they were really friends and they're still friends, and she was there for Kelly when she was dealing with her abusive father and they're still friends so why wouldn't she be there for me still even though I'm doing better?!"
Professor Thomas: "Maybe she thinks..."
Spencer: "I just don't understand why all of a sudden she's acting so cold. Yesterday, freaking yesterday we were amazing! She got me another charm for my travel bracelet and was curled up in my lap and telling me she needed me and now she's not needing me? Now she doesn't love me?!"
Professor Thomas: "Maybe Ashley's just scared..."
Spencer: "But how could she just suddenly not love me today when she loved me yesterday?!" I continue to pace as I wrack my brain over what the hell is wrong with her. "We were talking about babies and our future and now she's just texting McSlutty and ignoring me and what happened in Ohio that changed us?!"
Professor Thomas: "Well it sounds like..."
Spencer: "I got better in Ohio, I talked to my brother and Mom and patched up old friendships and got closer to people here and healed and OH MY GOD!"
Professor Thomas: "I'm not even going to attempt to talk back to you..."
Spencer: "She's worried I'm going to leave her! She's worried that I'm going to go back to Ohio and leave her! WAIT!"
Professor Thomas: "Seriously, should I even respond?"
Spencer: "Professor Thomas, this still counts as a full class right cause I promised myself that I wouldn't be late or miss any classes so this is a full class, right?!" We sit there in silence for a moment.
Professor Thomas: "Oh, did you want me to answer now?"
Spencer: "Yes!"
Professor Thomas: "Yes, Spencer, it's a full class!"
Spencer: "Whew, good. Anyway, Ashley is worried that I'm going to go to Ohio and break up with her! So she's pushing me away and trying to get me to break up with her! Thanks for the talk, Professor Thomas!" I yell, halfway out of the door already.
Professor Thomas: "Any time!" I hear yelled back.
Jessica: "The legal ramifications for the Molson vs. The people of Indiana case were threefold despite the change of venue..."
Spencer: "She thinks I'll break up with her and move back to Ohio!" I shout as I reach the doorway of the classroom. Jess halts at the front of the classroom, and turns to face with me her mouth wide open.
Jessica: "Um, Spencer, I'm in the middle of an oral presentation...could we talk about his later?" She asks with an eyebrow raised.
