"Yeah, Rachel brought me here when my dad died. After that we used to come here whenever we needed to get away. It became my spot when she was away at school." She sighs. If she shared this spot with Rachel and it helped her through the death of her father I knew it must be special. But I can't help but wonder if there was ever anything more between Ashley and Rachel. I shouldn't worry about that, not when I haven't even met her and she may not even be gay. "Spence, I brought you here because I wanted to ask you something. I know we haven't known each other very long. Hell, it hasn't even been a week, but it feels like I've known you forever. And I was wondering... I mean...Will you..." She was rambling again. So I pulled her into a passionate kiss. After a few minutes we pull apart.
"Ash, I would love to be your girlfriend." I say smiling, brushing hair out of her face. She smiles her nose crinkling smile and I melt.
"How did you know what I was going to ask?" She questions pulling me closer.
"I don't know, I just hoped that's what you were going to ask. Besides you were rambling and I had to shut you up." I smile.
"I do not ramble." She gasps, which causes me to giggle.
"Everytime I kiss you when you're talking, that means you're rambling." I laugh rubbing her arm that is wrapped tightly around me.
"Wow, in that case I should ramble more often." She says.
"Or you could just kiss me." I suggest, turning to face her. She leans in capturing my lips in a soft kiss. She pulls back and hugs me.
"I think we should get out of here." She whispers in my ear. I hadn't noticed but the sun had already set and it was getting dark.
"Yeah let's go back to your place." I say. We get up and walk back to her car. I'm not sure what's going to happen tonight. I mean everything has been happening so fast. I don't regret anything and I can't wait to see what's to come. All I know is that if I'm with Ash, it will be special.
