"Yeah but I don't know about being ready or not.  I mean how do you know when you're ready.  Besides they obviously suspected something anyway."  I say smiling as I gently caress her face with my hand.

"Okay."  She smiles grabbing my hand.  "Let's go swimming."  We walk down to the water joining Kyla and Aiden.

After splashing each other, goofing around, and several chick fights we were all pretty tired.  So we decided to go back to the blankets and lay out.  But I have the attention span of a gnat, so that didn't last long.  Then I came up with the bright idea to build a sand castle.

"Hey Ash.  I have an idea."  I say propping myself up on my elbow.  "Let's build a sand castle."  Okay I know I sound like a little kid right now, but it's fun.  The sand feels so good between my fingers.  She looks over at me laughing.

"Okay Spence.  Whatever you want."  She says sitting up.  Yay, sand castle time!  We spent the next hour building sand castles and taking turns burying each other.  It was so much fun.  While we were busy playing, Aiden and Kyla made some food.  We had burgers, chips, and cookies.  Mmm....cookies.  Sorry had a Homer Simpson moment.  We were having such a good time that before we knew it, it was sunset.  Kyla and Aiden were off in their own little world, as usual.  So Ash and I decided to take a walk.

"I want to take you to my favorite spot."  She says holding my hand.  I smile at her and we continue walking until we reach this beautiful alcove.  It's pretty secluded and you have a perfect view of the ocean and sunset.

"Ash this is beautiful."  I exclaim as we sit in the sand.  I sit between her legs, leaning into her resting my head on her shoulder.  She kisses my head and a smile graces my lips.

"You know you're one of two people I've shared this spot with."  She whispers.
