"It was nice meeting you Ashley." He waves us to the door. God, I love my dad for getting us out of there before the inquisition. We quickly get in the car and take off down the street. It only takes us about fifteen minutes to get to the beach. We kept stealing glances at each other the whole way there."Spence, I didn't tell Kyla and Aiden about us so you don't have to worry, okay." Ashley says as we walk over to where Kyla and Aiden are sitting. She is so thoughtful.
"Thanks. I'm just not ready to tell anyone you know." I say quietly.
"I get it, Spence. I've been there too. Coming out is never easy, but you have to do it sometime. But there's no need to rush it." She says understandingly. "Hey Ky, Aid."
"Oh hey Ash." Kyla says looking up at us. "Hi Spencer." She waves.
"Well, look at me. What did I do to get so lucky? I'm surrounded by three beautiful ladies, in bikinis no less." Aiden laughs. Guys, what else can you say? Kyla elbows him in the ribs. "Ow,what?"
"Stop ogling my sister and her girlfriend." Kyla says harshly. Wait did she just say girlfriend? I'm not Ash's girlfriend, yet. I mean I want to be, but she hasn't asked. Is it that obvious that we're into each other?
"Kyla she's not my girlfriend." Ash corrects her. She gives me a sly smile. I think Ashley can read my mind or something.
"Okay, whatever you say." Kyla laughs, winking at Aiden. "Well we're gonna go swimming, Come on Aid." Kyla says grabbing Aiden's arm and pulling him towards the water.
"Spence, I'm sorry. I swear I didn't say anything. I don't know how she...I'll make sure she knows that..." She was rambling again so I had to shut her up. I leaned in capturing her lips in a soft kiss.
